Technical requirements for Online Courses

Candidates must have a computer with the following minimum requirements:

PC Windows 95 or newer, Adobe Acrobat Reader, and Adobe Flash Player (available free from w.adobe.com)   

 MAC OS X (up to 10.4), Adobe Acrobat Reader,  and Adobe Flash Player (available free from www.adobe.com)

In addition candidates will need to:
  • have access to the internet, daily for summer session courses and at least three times a week for fall/winter/spring courses. (high speed internet is desirable);
  • have an email address and be able to send and receive emails with attachments ;
  • use Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer or Safari;
  • be comfortable using a computer; and
  • have some experience with using word processing programs such as Word, or Wordperfect.
