This course is designed to extend and deepen the application of concepts examined in Science and Technology, Primary and Junior, Part 1. Communicating with parents and collaborating with colleagues will be explored. An enhancement of candidate understanding about inquiry methods as well as critical thinking will be presented. Assessment through various lenses in the science and technology curriculum is another focus of the course. Candidates will have opportunities to communicate and apply learning through practical experiences, discussion, networking and sharing the products of their learning.
- Successful completion of the Additional Qualification course: Science and Technology, Primary and Junior, Part 1; and
- One year of successful teaching experience, certified by a supervisory officer.
