Teacher Leadership Part 2 will afford teacher leaders with opportunities to explore theoretical leadership frameworks while building on their personal skill set and traits. Candidates will have opportunities to engage in meaningful dialogue around teacher leadership and consider varying perspectives in order to develop their own leadership frameworks.
Teacher leaders will couple theory with practice to generate professional development resources for their respective educational communities. Candidates will continue to apply their new knowledge as they explore communication, conflict resolution and capacity building within their organizational context.
Prerequisites:
- Successful completion of the Additional Qualification course: Teacher Leadership Part 1; and
- One year of successful teaching experience, certified by a supervisory officer.
