English as a Second Language, Part 1 Destination AQ Course
Course Price (CAD): $650.00
Additional trip related fees will be payable directly to Georgia Hardy Tours based upon the following schedule once approved for the course:
- Initial Deposit (non-refundable) of $500: December 1, 2011
- Second Installment (50 % of remaining fee): March 1, 2012
- Final Installment (50 % of remaining fee): May 1, 2012
This course is designed to develop the skills and knowledge of the candidates in the design, delivery and assessment of English as a Second Language instruction. This course will be of interest to all teachers who are interested in enhancing the learning of English as a Second Language (ESL) and English Literacy Development (ELD) learners at all grade levels and subject areas.
Prerequisites:
- Certificate of Qualification and Registration or Interim Certificate of Qualification and Registration (ICQR) or ICQR (Limited) with the Ontario College of Teachers
- Basic Qualifications in Primary or Junior divisions or Intermediate or Senior divisions in general studies
