This introductory course explores the theoretical foundations, development of mentoring relationships, implementation of mentoring models, creating a welcoming environment and ethical considerations related mentoring a colleague. Candidates will participate in an adult learning model, where they will create support networks, receive feedback from colleagues and instructors, and share the products of their learning with others.
Prerequisites:
- Certificate of Qualification and Registration or Interim Certificate of Qualification and Registration (ICQR) or ICQR (Limited) with the Ontario College of Teachers’.
