This Specialist course builds on the work of the Reading, Part Two course with a strong focusing on leadership. Effective collaboration , mentoring and school change are stressed. Candidates will consider issues such as working with the school literacy teams, parents, and advocacy groups.
Prerequisites:
- Successful completion of the Additional Qualification course: Reading Part Two; and
- Two years of successful teaching experience, certified by a supervisory officer.
