Note: one of the hallmarks of ETFO AQ and PQP courses is respect for a teacher’s work/life balance. To that end there are no classes scheduled or requirements for candidates to do work during the March break – you do deserve a break – enjoy it!
Please note that the dates, location, and times for onsite courses (the majority of the instruction in-class but some on-line activities as well) may vary. The exact information for those courses will be posted on the individual course information pages.
Please do not leave registration until the last minute as certain courses tend to fill up quickly – once a course reaches capacity registration for the individual course will be closed.

Documents
If you have completed a prerequisite AQ we must be able to verify the successful completion of this course. If it has not been added to your OCT Certificate of Qualification you will not be allowed to take the Part II or Specialist courses.
Upon submission, applications/documents become the property of ETFO and will not be returned.
QECO/OSSTF Certification
If you are applying to an ETFO AQ program in order to satisfy a QECO/OSSTF requirement and therefore move up the salary grids, you are advised to obtain written approval/direction from QECO/OSSTF for your program selections before applying. The QECO/OSSTF approval process can take approximately two months to complete.
ETFO will not be responsible in the event that a member completes an AQ course that does not result in the participant’s desired grid improvement.

Deferrals
Candidates may opt to defer a particular course once during any once calendar year. This ensures that the candiate doesn’t lose any money and is able to continue in the course at a time that is more convenient for the candidate. The timing of the deferred course will be based upon the existing ETFO course offerings. No course can be deferred more than once.
- Defer the course to a future session within the calendar year up until the end of Learning Experience One (all ETFO online AQ courses have four learning experiences): no refund, no loss of money.
