This course is designed to further extend and expand the learning from the Part 1 course. Candidates will continue to explore the use of information and technology as a powerful educational tool within the classroom setting. Assessment, collaboration and strategies for building collaboration and support within the education community for the use of technology will be examined.
Prerequisites
- OCT member in good standing with a permanent teaching certificate
- Successful completion of the Additional Qualification course: Integration of Information and Computer Technology in the Classroom, Part 1; and
- One year of successful teaching experience, certified by a supervisory officer*
Teaching Experience Form
Candidates are responsible for ensuring they satisfy the specific eligibility prerequisites.
*Teaching Experience forms must be submitted to ETFO AQ (see policies and forms) prior to the start of the course. Failure to submit the necessary documents will result in the candidate being removed from the course.
