This course explores the theoretical foundations, the development of learners, program planning and implementation, assessment, the learning environment, and some key ethical considerations related to the teaching and learning of reading. Candidates will participate in an adult learning model, where they will create support networks, receive feedback from colleagues and instructors, and share the products of their learning with others.
- OCT member in good standing with a permanent or temporary teaching certificate
- Basic Qualifications in Primary or Junior divisions or Intermediate or Senior divisions in general studies.
