This course is designed to extend teacher skills and knowledge with a focus on practical instruction and assessment strategies that will help support Science learning for students in grades 7 and 8. Candidates will have opportunities to communicate and apply their learning through practical experiences, discussion, networking and sharing the products of their learning.
Note: This course will not give teachers certification to teach in another division. ETFO does not provide ABQ courses as only a faculty of education can offer these courses. Visit OCT website for additional information.
Prerequisites
- OCT member in good standing
- Permanent Teaching Certificate (Certificate of Qualification and Registration)
- Basic Qualifications in at least one of the following divisions:

- Junior
- Intermediate
- Senior
* If you have a Transitional Certificate of Qualification and Registration you are not eligible for enrollment in an AQ course.
