The Special Education Part 1 is the first of three Additional Qualification courses for educators focused on best practices for teaching students with special needs.
The course focuses on effectively meeting the individual requirements of students with learning differences or learning needs/ special needs by developing and implementing effective programs based on appropriate assessments. Educators utilize curriculum and Ministry documents with knowledge of student development and various strategies to ensure a positive and productive learning experience for all learners, with emphasis on those identified as exceptional.
