This introductory course explores practical online teaching strategies that has its roots in the theoretical foundations, development of learners, program planning and implementation, assessment, the learning environment and ethical considerations related to teaching and learning online post the COVID era. Candidates will participate in exploring strategies to create and develop online instruction that is relevant, equitable, inclusive and meaningful through the use of various digital platforms. Candidates willalso be engaged in digital opportunities for learning in our ever-evolving technological age.
Prerequisites
- OCT member in good standing
- Permanent Teaching Certificate (Certificate of Qualification and Registration)
- Basic Qualifications in at least one of the following divisions:
