This course is designed to enhance professional practice by extending knowledge and skills in the delivery of writing programs. Candidates will explore the theoretical foundations, learning environment, ethical considerations, the development of learners, program planning and implementation, and assessment related to teaching and learning of writing across all divisions.
Candidates will discuss students’ views, attitudes, and needs for effective instruction in writing as reflected in curriculum documents and investigate strategies to adopt equitable, safe and inclusive writing tools.
Prerequisites
- OCT member in good standing
- Permanent Teaching Certificate (Certificate of Qualification and Registration)
- Basic Qualifications in at least one of the following divisions:

- Senior
