Exemplary professional learning, accredited by the Ontario College of Teachers, recognized by QECO as Additional Qualification credits for grid movement purposes, and still the least expensive Additional Qualification courses amongst the major providers. ETFO Additional Qualifications courses are a great way to help you reach your professional goals as an educator!
Teachers planning on taking Additional Qualification courses in order to move up the salary grid are advised to check with QECO (elementary teachers) and OSSTF Certification (secondary teachers) to ascertain their exact needs prior to taking a course. ETFO Additional Qualifications courses are recognized by QECO as Additional Qualification credits, since ETFO is not a university our AQs are not recognized by QECO as university credits. More information about this is found in the FAQ section of the ETFO Additional Qualifications website.

Note: one of the hallmarks of ETFO AQ and PQP courses is respect for a teacher’s work/life balance. To that end there are no classes scheduled or requirements for candidates to do work during the March break – you do deserve a break – enjoy it!
Please note that the dates, location, and times for onsite courses (the majority of the instruction in-class but some on-line activities as well) may vary. The exact information for those courses will be posted on the individual; course information pages.
Please check the ETFO AQ calendar for the most up-to-date information.
